Head of Post-Sales Analytics (m/f/d)
Join IU and become part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to making quality education accessible to all. We are looking for a highly skilled Head of Analytics to lead IU Group’s comprehensive reporting on topics such as enrollment, study progress, and customer service.
This position is available immediately in full-time (40hrs./week) within Germany or UK remotely or at one of our office locations.

Comprehensive Reporting: Take responsibility for extensive reporting on enrollment, study progress, and customer service, enabling our leadership teams to take data driven decisions and steer our operations effectively.

Data Analysis: Lead your team in performing both ad-hoc and strategic data analyses, deriving actionable recommendations for the operational business.

Data Visulization: Lead your team in establishing high standards for effective data communication & visualization for leadership and operational teams alike.

Data Structures Development: Enhance our data structures and reporting landscape, ensuring our data preparation and analysis processes are state-of-the-art.

Business Partnership: Act as a valued business partner for stakeholders, supporting them from the planning to the implementation of individual analyses.

Team Leadership: Provide empathetic leadership to your team, managing both functional and disciplinary aspects, and continuously developing team members.

Data Stack: Extensive experience working with large datasets and proficiency in Python, Postgres (Redshift), Power BI, and SQL, as well as data from various sources (e.g., internal systems, Salesforce, phone and ticket systems). Familiarity with data modeling techniques, ERD, enterprise data, and designing and implementing data models, including relational SQL database technologies are a plus.

Leadership Experience: At least 3 years of leadership experience in an analytical role (e.g., Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, or Controlling).

Business Judgement & Communication: Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills, enabling confident discussions with other leaders and senior management.

Growth Mindset: A proactive attitude towards learning new things, achieving high performance with your team, and being hands-on when needed to enable your team drive strong results.

Education: A successful degree in (Business) Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or similar fields, along with very good English skills.

SaaS and App Analytics: Deeper knowledge in SaaS reporting and app analytics is a plus.
